After years with much Adu about not quite nothing
Adu!
First Goal with the Senior Men's National Team, and against a typically strong, but currently weak Guatemala.
To review in the past five years Freddy Adu has played with four professional teams on two continents in three leagues and played professional games in at least four nations. He is currently a sub for Monaco (plays in French League One) on loan from Benifica who purchased him from Real Salt Lake who traded a DP slot for him, or something.
When he was loaned to Monaco there was talk that he had been offered on loan to SSFC.
I don't want him on loan.
But a Freddie (Ljungberg) to Freddy (Adu) to Freddy (Montero) sequence would be real fun.

I forgot to mention that the USA won 2-nil over Guatemala. The Americans are +11 in Goal differential.
