Don't read anything into the Chairman of a English League Championship club showing up less than 24 hours before a game in England but at a charity event in Fremont?

Seriously?

You don't think that we'd look at that roster. Adrian, you don't think we would notice that a young American defender hasn't been playing recently. That we wouldn't remember that Joe Roth said that 3-4 more defenders were on their way from "international nations" and what we've seen added is Ianni from Houston and Alonso the Cuban midfielder.

Frank Simek has only been used 3 times in Wednesday's midtable campaign. Back on the 2nd of January that was good for 15% of his team's matches.

Arsenal youth team member, and 5 time capped player with the USMNT. Yes, he's had a serious hamstring issue.

Sure that's the first name to jump to mind, but let's face it. We all did it. We all looked up rumors for Sheffield Wednesday, scoured their roster and just started to hope for a name signing out of England.
