GM, player and some front office people on one page
Coach and other players on another.
That my friends is a problem

first real moment where there may be reason
to criticize the ‘class’ of our Sounders. This is clearly an unprofessional breakdown in communication, as you point out. No esta bien. Breakdowns of this nature lead to unnecessary and unhealthy speculation, as well as filter down as confusion to our more casual supporters. Such a tight-lipped front office should exert its control especially in situations such as this current one…
was there really a breakdown in communication?
Just because Freddie says he is coming back, and that he is returning on such and such a date, doesn’t mean he should not be at camp on day 1. He has a responsibility to be there like everyone else.
I have not read anywhere the Sounders FO gave him permission beforehand to not be at camp starting from day 1. Anyway, at this point, as Sigi said, I think this is an issue to be handled internally.
