First, there is the great news that the Sounders organization will be doing everything they can to accommodate the families with little ghouls and ghosts planning on attending Sunday's playoff game.
In addition to a haunted house and massive Thriller dance-off (as awkward as this), there will be a costume contest in Occidental Park before the march where the winner will get TWO tickets to the second leg on November 7th. So instead of rushing home after the game to get dressed as a creepy, scary Seattle sports fan, just wear it to the game and use the extra time to celebrate a win.
Initially there was a lot of grumbling about the match being during prime trick-or-treating hours, but at least the FO is showing they understand and are trying to make up for it.
However, none of that makes up for the terrifying fright of facing off against the LA Galaxy.
I was going to write a post after the Houston match, where we were slated to face RSL, and to be honest, I was hoping for that. But a part inside me knew better, and lo and behold, we get this.
