Notes from the team
I'm not going to be the guy that posts the full notes, but I will focus on a few of them that I think are of particular interest.
First though, from the Seattle Times, in 7 on 7 large field scrimmages Mike Fucito had a hattrick.
The rest is condensed from an email the team sends out weekly
Vancouver Whitecaps FC of the NASL Conference in USSF Division Two will be the first friendly/exhibition. It will be Feb 11 down in Phoenix.
As the Secondary Transfer Window closes in most of Europe (Nordic Countries and Russia still have their Primary Open) the team's cheif talent evaluators are going on their first trip.
General manager Adrian Hanauer and technical director Chris Henderson depart later this week for 10 days of scouting in Argentina and Uruguay
Comings and Goings this week for players
Coming - Ljungberg, Marshall (returning), Lusky, Gardner
Goings - Seamon, Predido both back to school

Uraguay National Team
Has players in Spain, Italy, France, Turkey, Netherlands, Portugal, but also scattered in South American leagues below par of MLS as well (Chile, Colombia, Uraguay).
This may be a solid spot to find one of those players that Henderson was talking about who is a young talent who needs playing time, but won’t get it on their top teams at home.
Their top two clubs, Nacianol and PeƱarol, have shown well in the Copa Libertadores. Uraguay is the 3rd most successful nation in that tourney. Neither have finished with that title though for nearly 25 years.
League play just restarted on Jan 23rd
