Around SBN: Todd Haley Is The Steelers Next Offensive Coordinator

He's done with Milan. He's done with England, probably for good.

Likely even done with Galaxy, though just maybe back in time if they can scrape into the Playoffs.

Forward Alecko Eskandarian will be out indefinately for the Galaxy as well.

While Sounders fans bemoan the offense here, let's remember some perspective.

For some reason when an on field injury happens

I always think of “So I Married an Axe Murderer”

Yeah tough break for Becks

He has done everything in the last 3 years to try to get back onto the World Cup pitch and redeem himself on the world stage. To see his window close so quickly and on a non-contact play… it’s kind of sad.

That is too bad for both Beckham and Eskandarian

Especially with Eskandarian, head injuries are a serious thing and can have long-term affects. I wish both of them well.

It sucks for England

considering Terry was a douche and fucked up being a captain and lost all respect to lead the england team, so while I feel bad for Beckham, this may help the U.S.

It's not as though Beckham was taking the armband from Terry

On the field, JT is still a leader. However, losing Becks means losing an experienced talisman who can come into the game and provide some decent crosses. Considering the amount of injuries England has right now, and their lack of experience and speed on the wing (in Capello’s eyes, anyway) losing him is certainly a blow that way.

By the way, Beck's injury occured on NATURAL GRASS

If this happened on artificial turf, we would not hear the end of it from people who like to complain.

So I Married An Axe Murderer?

Epic, man! It was an accident, in shop class! Somebody get the nurse!

Sucks for Becks, though. All that effort and drama, all for nothing now. Hope he’s able to recover. Hope there’s a league left for him to return to.
