Gamethread: Sounders @ Vancouver, preseason
UPDATE: Sounders tie Whitecaps, 0-0 in front of about 4,000 fans.
I'm still looking for a live radio stream, but if I can't find any I'll at least post the score and highlights.
That said, here's the starting lineups:
Sounders: Kasey Keller, James Riley, Jhon Kennedy Hurtado, Tyrone Marshall, Leo Gonzalez, Sanna Nyassi, Nathan Sturgis, Osvaldo Alonso, Steve Zakuani, Fredy Montero and Freddie Ljungberg.
Whitecaps: Jay Nolly, Chris Williams, Taka Hirano, Greg Janicki, Martin Nash, Ricardo Sanchez, Nelson Akwari, Ansu Toure, Dever Orgill, Cornelius Stewart and Nizar Khalfan.
Feel free to discuss...

Halftime 0-0
From the looks of it, Sounders haven’t been all that sharp and the Whitecaps have had a few good chances. Some offside calls ruined several of Seattle’s best scoring chances.
Starters out for second half
No substitutes yet. Apparently, Seattle had six offsides in the first half.
More subs
Parke and Wahl for Leo and Hurtado in 76th minute. Still scoreless. Supposedly, about 5,000 fans in attendance.
Sounds like ECS made a strong showing
Apparently, their cheering has managed to drown out the Whitecaps supporters’.
Scoreless tie
Sounders had two decent chances in stoppage time, but King’s shot from 13 yards out was blocked and another attempt off a rebound was cleared away.
Good match
I thought both sides put in a pretty good showing. Seattle probably had the majority of the chances, but that’s about what you’d expect. Both teams have excellent keepers, and Nolly and Keller were both in good form. Zakuani played particularly well in my mind; he’s a dangerous player. Also, nice to see so many Seattle fans make the trip up for the game; I’m definitely looking forward to having the Cascadia rivalries fully renewed in 2011.

Great recap!
I too am excited for the Cascadia rivalry to be in full swing. It’s about time the west coast caught up and got some teams spread out all over. It’s going to be great!
