PrintMarshall wound up credited with that goal in the end. Ljungberg with the assist. The Sounders have now scored on a Free Kick (indirect), although they did give up two corners and are now +0 on the 2010 season on set-plays.
Robert Pires looks fairly likely to be in MLS in the Secondary Window.
Houston's soccer stadium has been approved by the city and now the County Councils. All that's left is negotiating the lease details. There is serious progress for the league on this front with really only DC, and to a lesser extent New England, without an end in sight.
KC has a competitve match tonight against the Rapids in US Open Cup Play-In Rounds. The Wizards 4-3-3 has Wolff, Bunbury and Myers at Forward with Sunil in a midfield role.
The SBN Power Ranking are going to be updated any moment. Word is that there was a lot of movement this week. UP. Seattle stays put, but Galaxy are clear number one with United and TFC battling for worst.

They are better
Reality is they are a better team than they were at the start of 2009, they are about the same as they were at the end of 2009 when they played fairly well, including the 5-0 thrashing of TFC on the last weekend of the season.
It is early in the season, and it is far too early to judge where teams will really end up based on 10% of the schedule being played. Pires will end up in LA.
