Interesting article
But it’s Bremerton. It’s a mixed bedroom and retirement community. As mentioned in the article, Bremerton hasn’t exactly been on the forefront of soccer. They even cite the issues that the Bluejackets and Riptides have had trying to get fans to games. It’s a slightly more uphill battle with soccer compared to Hockey and Baseball. I think jumping to USL2 and going in debt for a stadium two years after their inaugural game is pretty sporty, especially when they’re only a quarter of the way to their 2000 average attendance per game. I’d hate to see these guys do something like that and go under. I got the priviledge to see a Pumas game before, it was a lot of fun.
