Hi guys:

Thanks for posting a link to our story on David. Truly one of the most enjoyable players we’ve interviewed we’ve interviewed recently (probably since Ale Bedoya).

The Shin Guardian publication started in July of 2009. We focus on a wide bread of soccer stories (check out the interviews or our Beer & Soccer series) and try to not go for the scoop, but achieve depth in our pieces.

We were nominated by US Soccer for best soccer publication last year and we’re regular contributors on World Football Daily and a few other radio programs and podcasts.

Yeah David is a good guy

I’ve talked to him a few times and actually worked at one of the paper that covered him while he was in high school. Good work

Really great interview

I enjoy interviews that get a bit mroe in-depth, where I feel like I really know the player a bit more afterwards. That was one of them. Great read. Makes me hope that Estrada’s ‘injury’ isn’t bad enough to keep him out of USOC and/or some CCL matches. Honestly, with the little we’ve seen him play, I think his biggest issue in MLS is the physicality and he might do really well vs some of the more technical but less physical teams we’ll play in CCL.
