The single biggest difference I've noticed between MLS sides and other American sides
(Mexican or C American) is that overall, the non-MLS teams play much better as teams in the final 3rd. There’s a lot better, accurate, clearly directed short passing on the ground to spots where the passer knows a teammate is or will be. That’s pretty rare in MLS, unfortunately.
