Currently the Injured List is full at four
Hurtado (final month of season return at best)
Estrada (minor injury, but out a few more games)
Vagenas (minor injury, out nearly a month more)
Fucito (eligible to be back any moment, likely back to full practice this weekend)
Sounders currently have a roster slot open.
Jamel Wallace (CB, RB, CDM) would seem most likely to be brought when a move can happen. Roster deadline is Sept 1 (unless MLS tweaked the rules again.

I don't think Wallace is here to make an appearance on the MLS roster
The guys from Kitsap, I believe, are more to add some meat to a thinning practice squad and provide some relief if it’s needed for the other competitions. If they can figure out a way to bring in another MLS quality player, I’m sure they’ll do it.

Is the Estrada injury real?
I sort of had the impression that it was simply a move based on needing a roster spot and that Estrada was fine to play in non-MLS games. He certainly looked fine vs Celtic.
Pretty sure it's not real
But his six-week stay on the IR is very real. Whether or not he’s healthy, he can’t play in MLS matches until his IR stint hits six weeks.

A bit of a disadvantage
I’m sure he’ll get some PT in the CCL, but actually some of the easier matches will probably be vs MLS sides. I’d almost rather see him in those games. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him in the Open Cup, either. Everyone else will need the rest.
He can't play in MLS for a while
but if the choice is Nkufo on roster v Estrada available for league play, its an easy choice.

with Evans probably out long term, there’s a spot available, right?
There would be, but Estrada isn't available until Sept. 4th
And since the IR list is full, if Evans were placed on IR, it would seem Fucito would have to come off and take the roster spot if I’m getting this right.

Disregard that part. Still, Estrada can’t take the spot for a month and someone would have to come off IR for Evans to go on.
Given the update on Evan
is not looking good and that we have 6 additional games to play, would it be likely that we will see Alvaro play in the CM for a number of games? Being Seattle would have 3 CM’s spread out through MLS CCL and open cup that’s too many games for alonso, sturgis and seamon to handle.
