Nkufo Traveled
UPDATE: There's a chance Borg's information is incorrect. Check out the preview on Soundersfc.com and choose for yourself.
We now have confirmation that he did travel.
While this seems a familiar refrain, it is. But let's be honest, would you really want someone with a fragile knee starting their first match back on a foreign surface in a foreign land?
It is now nearly certain that Nate Jaqua starts, and how Sigi will get more offense late will be an intriguing thing to see tonight.

Doesn't really matter....
Who starts. This one was going to be a loss all along.
Yup, I’m feeling kinda bitter about the whole ccl thing. As long as they continue to trot out the worst and most biased refs in the world, this tourney is a joke. We should stop competing in it until they agree to bring in refs from another continent and publicly call it the corrupt joke that it is.
Not sure it really matters, but I'm doubting Borg on this
Just watched the preview on Soundersfc.com and I’d say there were five Blaise sightings in it. I say watch it for yourself, but I feel like I can spot Blaise in the background pretty well and it looks like he traveled to me. Unless we have confirmation of Borg’s off-handed remark (and does he really have better Sounders sources than Seattle media?), I wouldn’t take his word for it.

If hear rumor
That Blaise is in fact doing ok (i.e. could play if they really need him to), but that they want the knee to strengthen as long as they can afford to wait. I’m anticipating him playing against Columbus (as that game is huge if we win it).
Has anyone else heard that? My source is just another fan (so no one credible).
He is in the preview video.
Right after the montero Interview. Clearly big Blaise is there wearing his #9 shorts. He seems to be playing well too. Good news. What Borg is Wrong?!! No Way!
The fact that Nkufo travelled is awesome
not because he really needs to play in San Jose, but because of what it says about how bad his knee is. That’s a big relief in a season filled with some worse-than expected injuries.
