PrintCaskey is more of a box-to-box midfielder. We hear he had a good combine. He takes a lot of free kicks and corners, which is something the Sounders need with Sturgis gone (though it seems unlikely Caskey would contribute to the first team in 2011).
Random fact: Caskey, Carrasco, and Cruz are 3 of the 4 players on page 40 of the SuperDraft media guide. How unlikely is that? Think Sigi and Chris closed their eyes and picked a random page to draft from?

He had an excellent combine doing a lot of little things right…especially on defense.

Could the pages have been stuck together and Sigi and Company thought they were drafting from
page 4 instead of 40?

Actually, players didn't start until around page 36.
Before that there were a bunch of sleep-inducing stats
