More Statistics - Plus/Minus, Pass Completion Percentage
Sidereal has looked into Shots Plus/Minus in the past, and now we will have it updated on a semi-frequent basis. Due to the limits of available data these are for MLS games only. Data is collected from MLSsoccer.com. These are only additional statistics to measure a player's value. As in all things soccer they do not provide a complete image of said value. Players in italics have less than 900 MLS minutes.
Some definitions are probably in order.
Shots Plus/Minus - A plus one is given for every shot the team takes while a player is on the pitch. A minus one for every shot the opposing team takes. The listed rate stat is divided by minutes and multiplied by 90 for a per 90 listing.
Goals Plus/Minus - See above and replace shots with goals.
Total Pass Completion Percentage - Whether a pass ends up under control by a player with the same team.
Offensive Pass Completion Percentage - See above but only within the offensive third.

Nice!
Can we se one where players with less than 500 or less than 700 minutes are removed?
I'll explore some other ways to do data presentation

Helloooo small sample sizes
But some things are interesting. Neagle is terrible at SH+/- but great at G+/-. Sanyang has yet to miss on a pass? Even in only 12 minutes, that’s a good sign. Alonso is an insanely efficient passer. This bears out my perception that he almost always knows where he can link the ball. Fucito’s offensive pass completion rate is the lowest of any forward by far. Is that mostly just due to his play style?
Sanyang has attempted one credited pass
As for Fucito he isn’t used as a linking player very often.

Just from an observational standpoint:
it seems as though most of Fucito’s passes are of the low-percentage variety in the box. I don’t think he’s one of the better passers on the team by any stretch, but he’s certainly not poor or even below average and the passes he does make tend to create chances when they’re successful.

Could be it
Would be interesting to explore passing success by distance at some point
