ECS Invites You To Travel With Them To Real Salt Lake

There are few things more fun than going on a roadtrip to watch your team play. As you may remember, I documented my experience going with ECS to Vancouver. Well, if you're looking for something to do this weekend, ECS wants to make sure you are more than welcome to join them.

From the look of it, there is no organized bus trip, but they are organizing carpools and helping people finding lodging. Of course, they also have tickets that they are selling for $29.

I honestly wish I could make this trip as I'm sure it will be a very different experience than the highly organized trip to Vancouver. If you ever wanted to get to know your fellow supporters, this is a great opportunity and it sounds like it could be accomplished for a reasonable amount of money. Friday 11/28: Lots of you will trickle in throughout the day. We're not organizing a specific meet up, but there will likely be an informal gathering or two if you keep an eye on the main travel forum (http://www.weareecs.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=16396). People will likely take it easy that night, Saturday's a big day.
Saturday 11/29:

Morning - Sleep in. Have breakfast. Go pick up supplies for the day (bottled water, Gatorade, aspirin, lozenges). Dress warm. It's going to get cold. BUY A ROUND TRIP TRAX PASS FOR TONIGHT!

12:00 - Let the prefunk begin! We will be at Lumpy's Downtown (145 W. Pierpont Avenue) http://www.lumpysdowntownslc.com/
13:00 - Ticket distribution will start for those who bought tickets in the away supporters section. Don't worry if you can't make it, tickets will be returned to will-call for you to pick up.
17:00 - Time to start closing your tabs, there's work to be done. Ticket distribution stops. If you didn't get them here, go to Rio Tinto Will-Call.
17:30 - We ride! Time to walk a couple blocks to the TRAX station and take over a rail car headed to Sandy.
18:45 - March from TRAX station to Rio Tinto. This is OUR FORTRESS NOW!
19:00 - Enter stadium. Prepare yourself. This is the most critical match of 2011. Right now. They deserve your best. They NEED your best. Drink water. The altitude and the cold WILL NOT SLOW YOU DOWN.
20:00 - GO MENTAL!
22:00 - Savor victory. Celebrate in our section until released by security.
22:30 - Head back to SLC via TRAX.
23:30 - Halloween party at Lumpy's. Get crunk.
