Sounders Hosting Several Viewing Parties

If you're like us and not going to Salt Lake for Saturday's MLS Cup wildcard game, there are plenty of places in and around Seattle that will be showing the game. Feel free to share where you're planning to watch the game, here, but in the meantime I figured it's probably a good idea to list the Sounders' official viewing parties.

The main party is at Club Sno at the Snoqualamie Casino. The event is free and features a 15-foot big screen, all sorts of prize giveaways and even a dance party afterward (dance party, y'all!!!). The so-called satellite events will, obviously, be showing the game while also giving out some prizes.

I'm planning to be in Capitol Hill, and Auto Battery seems like the place to be up there. If you see me, please say hi. In the meantime, here's the list of the official watch parties:

Star-divide

Atlantic Crossing - 6508 Roosevelt Avenue, Seattle

Club Sno at Snoqualmie Casino - 37500 Southeast North Bend Way, Snoqualmie

Fado Irish Pub - 801 1st Avenue, Seattle

Fuel - 164 South Washington Street, Seattle

George and Dragon Pub- 206 North 36th Street, Seattle

Kells - 1916 Post Alley, Pike Place Market, Seattle

Market Arms - 2401 NW Market Street, Seattle

I going there fairly frequently

They always have FSC on one of the TV’s and currently have Brougham Bitter on tap so they are a good bet.

Most sports bars are OK before 9.

Where do you live or where are you wanting to watch?

Along Chris' lines

At least a few of the places listed aren’t 21 and up, I believe. It’s worth calling.

Any recommendations in West Seattle?

Found a spot

Beveridge Place Pub says it will be showing the Sounders on the main screen, and the Huskies on the small screens.

New York

For the sounders diaspora in New York there are people meeting at Carlow East. Just don’t get stuck in the snow.

Somehow

I doubt I’m going to have much luck finding a place to watch in LA…

Auto Battery should be amusing to be at tonight.

The goth club beneath it is having their Halloween party tonight. That place makes for good people-watching on their normal nights, but Halloween? Damn.

If you’re on the east side of Lake Washington, both J.J. Mahoney’s and the Three Lions Pub in Redmond should be showing the match tonight.

Ooh, Mercury?

I should steal my wife’s membership card.

Indeed.

I love that place. Haven’t been in too long. If you want to go, she can take you in as a guest…

I cannot recommend JJ Mahoney's strongly enough

I miss going there to watch games – the staff are excellent, and the nachos are to die for.

by JiminSEA on Oct 29, 2011 4:12 PM PDT up reply actions

And the nachos are one of the lesser parts of their menu.

They have some great food there. If I wasn’t sick, I’d be there in a heartbeat tonight.
