Around SBN: Sixers Vs. Celtics: Countdown To Game Seven

"It’s our game plan to go up early and calm it down and hopefully we can stick to the game plan," he said on Monday. "You always got to tune [the fans] out. It’s really a hard place to play. You have the fans screaming that you can’t hear your own teammates ask for the ball. An early goal would calm them down and silence them a little bit. That’s what we’re going to try and do."

Oduro Plans To Silence Sounders Crowd

He admits that he wants you to be quiet, that it messes with the Fire's ability to communicate and he thinks that he can calm you down.

I think he's wrong.

Stupidest pregame comment since NY Giants 'pumping in the noise'

Ut nos exaudire te incubus

Somniis is just dreams. I intend for Mr. Oduro to hear me clawing at the inside of his skull for years to come when he closes his eyes and thinks back on this night.

I take it he hasn’t been paying much attention to us this season if he doesn’t know how we do with early goals.

Good Research

Great game plan since going up an early goal totally worked in last year’s Cup Final. Also saying you want to go up a goal isn’t so much a strategy but a clueless cry for help. No clue, intimidated: we’ll just try to bewilderedly, generically go up a goal. Good luck with that.

I predict 4-1 seattle. We’ve been waiting all season for this. The Fire are out of their league.

4-1? i like but...

seems like maybe a little much.. how about 2-1 or 3-1 seattle.. Fredy, Fucito and Jaqua combine for 2 or 3 :)

If that is his strategy

then I think we should counter with the strategy of ‘scoring more points than our opponent’.

It's the Ron Fairly school of tactical analysis

“What there Mariners want to do here is to go up by a couple of runs”

Oh young Padawan

There is no try. Enjoy being first loser.

You will hear us on Brougham, you will hear us on Occidental, you will hear us on King. Our yachts are all around you, there is no escape.

I make a dig at our opponent

and you want to split hairs over semantics? Uh, okay.

You will hear us on Brougham, you will hear us on Occidental, you will hear us on King. Our yachts are all around you, there is no escape.

I'm not driving all the way from MT to be quiet.

We’re going to quiet you down, Oduro.

Vos mos audite nos vos. Vos mos vereor nos.

You will hear us. You will fear us.
