mad?Yes. Sad?Yes. angry?Yes. The thing is we need to believe we can do it , @soundersfc can score 3 or more goals at home !

Fredy Montero on Twitter

He isn't taking the loss well. He isn't giving up. Neither should you. btw - Roger Levesque was on an MLS squad that was down 2 goals going into the 2nd leg and then scored 5 to advance. That San Jose team went on to win the 2003 MLS Cup.

The playoffs are stupid and they do very little to measure the greatness of a team. There, I feel better.

All I know is that I will be there Wednesday along with many of you to support our boys and if this ends up being the end it will be hard but it should do nothing to diminish the incredible achievements this team has accomplished this year.

But it will and does

I’ll be there on Wednesday, probably hating every minute of the futility.

Well, with no playoffs and only league table points

We’d already be done, having lost to Los Angeles. I don’t get the playoffs hate. Just look at it as another tournament.

That would be infinity preferable

That would have been the result of 34 game in which we would have had the same chance to accumulate points. We would be second fair and square. This way, our season is ruined by one bad game. Why anyone would prefer a sample size of four over a sample size of 34 is bizarre to me.

the sounders

Will need the crowds energy to pull this off, but RSL might actually have silenced us all ready.

No

The stadium will be rocking. We all certainly feel beat down, but I know they are capable of a comeback. There are few teams in MLS that could stage an epic comeback from 3 goals down, and the Sounders are one of those teams.

Right on Chris

About a year and a half ago, Fulham fell behind 4-1 on aggregate against Juventus in the second leg, and came back to win 5-4 in one for the ages. Now it’s our turn to write history.
