Does anyone know what would happen regarding CONCACAF entry if the Sounders were to make it to the MLS Cup and fail to win it? That would give them both play-in berths in the CONCACAF Champions League. I'm assuming that CONCACAF would not say "Sounders vs Sounders" and you're in group play....so what happens to that MLS berth in such a situation? What do you think *should* happen? I would like to see it go to Shield Runner-up. For that matter, I would like to see it go to Shield Runner-up period...but I'm always interested to hear the opinions expressed here.
