Nos Audietis, Episode 28: We Just Won The U.S. Open Cup

Nos_audietis_05_medium

There are few things as glorious in the podcasting world than celebrating victory, and that's just what we do in this week's episode of Nos Audietis. Three-straight U.S. Open Cups baby, there ain't nothing to apologize for.

This is also our first episode with our new engineer, loyal Sounder at Heart reader Dano_Seattle. Please give him a hearty Nos Audietis welcome.

Our big guest this week is TheCup.US editor-in-chief Josh Hakala. We talk about where the victory puts the Sounders in Open Cup history, as we as discussing just how much the Sounders have done to raise the profile of the 98-year-old tournament. We spend roughly 30 seconds discussing the New England Revolution and Philadelphia Union matches (so sue us). More importantly, we get to some of your burning questions, the highlight of which is probably a game of "marry-eff-kill" with Gary Smith, Daniel Hernandez and Carlos Tevez.

Oh, and we should also make tell you that @Pain_Machine makes a triumphant return with a boquete of mouth tweets to get you through the weekend.

Ochoa

I like the point about him getting more playing time. Have they mentioned his fitness level recently?

Pain Machine is awesome.
