The Woodland Park Zoo and Seattle Sounders teamed up have some animals play with soccer balls. Who doesn't like big cats, wolves, bears and a miniture donkey with the game we love?

Read their blog entry on the subject.

Oh, and go to the zoo as an adult some time. I went with my dad over the summer and it was a cool way to remember youth, but learn some stuff.

Excellent

Now, I can’t speak to the Woodland Park Zoo, but as far as retuning to the zoo as an adult goes… find somewhere doing a “zoo brew” and check it out. Drinking at the zoo is the best.

"Drinking at the zoo is the best."

At least there are some good bars near the zoo.

Pretty sure Woodland park Zoo had a fall zoo beer festival this year.

"The fans are excited. And the stadium, well, it ignites with explosion."

Awesome

Being a STH and a student in veterinary school, this makes me real happy. Wish I could’ve seen it.

sigh Lions and snow leopards got to play, no cougars though….

No Honey Badgers at the zoo?

Not as if we needed to go to the zoo to see a Honey Badger kick a soccer ball.

That bear was pretty awesome, though.

If there was a honey badger

none of the other animals would have a ball anymore

I love the zoo!

I make sure to go at least once a year. Also awesome pictures.

That photo of a lion batting at a flattened soccer ball

seems perfectly emblematic of Saturday’s result.
