End Of Year Parties: ECS, Gorilla FC, North End Faithful Have Big Plans
As you know, Sounder at Heart does not have any official supporters' group affiliation. We do, however, consider ourselves friends of most of them. If you'd like to know any of them better, we highly recommend that you attend one of their two end-of-year parties. As it turns out, Kasey Keller is scheduled to be at both of them.
The first one is Friday, Dec. 2 and is co-hosted by Gorilla FC and North End Faithful at the Golazo Headquarters on Capitol Hill. In addition to Keller, there will be a cash bar hosted by Seattle's Sun Gin as well as DJs, a 3-on-3 tournament prizes. Advance tickets are $5 for members and $10 for non-members. Tickets can also be purchased at the door for $8 and $13, respectively. The event will also serve as a fundraiser for Haiti relief.
ECS will host their party a day later on Dec. 3 at Republiq. It will double as their annual business meeting, but will feature food and drinks as well as dancing and whatnot. Tickets are $10 for members and $15 for nonmembers if purchased before Saturday. They go up to $15 for everyone after that and cost $20 at the door. They are also taking donations for Toys for Tots.
Tickets for both events can be purchased through the groups' websites. Both events are also 21-and-over.
Seriously, though, if you can attend one or both, you really should. It's a great chance to better know your fellow supporters, even if you aren't affiliated with either group. I know I've felt very welcomed by both groups.
