Are we getting another Tico to fill Riley's spot?

MLS Rumors reported that Kurt Schmid met with Heiner Mora a right wingback or right back for Saprissa (currently on loan with AD Santos). A 27 year old Costa Rican who has expressed interest in playing in the MLS.

…Mora is “definitely a player we like.” Not to read too much into this, but if AH is willing to go on the record with that, it’s at least reasonable to think the Sounders probably have a discovery claim on him. I was hoping that we would add some height at LB/RB in the off-season, and this wouldn’t really accomplish that, but he seems to have a pretty solid resume. If Montano is leaving as rumored, that would open up an international spot. (We’re currently not too short on international slots, but they can get used up quick.)

We should also be getting an international spot back from Portland

We traded an international spot for the 2011 season with them for allocation money in the SuperDraft last year. It’s possible that we may still need that extra allocation money and extend that deal for the 2012 season as well. I guess it all depends on how much allocation we got for Wahl.
