Donovan says Qwest is "Quiet"
He says that the last few times LA has played in Seattle the crowd hasn't been that loud - that he's been able to take the crowd out of the game.
I love to hear this arrogant (though talented) bum get a hearty and LOUD "boo" every time he touches the ball.

That is because
they have outscored us 6-0 in their last 3 trips to Qwest. Not many crowds get rowdy and loud when they are seeing their team get embarrassed.
Welcome to the Sound Pound...
But
The Sounders fans are. Dumbest of Harkes many dumb comments when he said the goal sent the crowd silent while you could hear ECS singing loud and clear.

Oh man
It might have been. As I was posting, I specifically thought to myself that I hoped no one would challange this incomplete memory. I was a little scatter-brained at that particular part of the broadcast. The only reason it even registered in my mind is it was so stupid of a thing to say.

It sounds like something Harkes would say anyway
But, when a goal is scored…the stadium does get pretty silent for a couple seconds. It’s a little surreal.

Well, someone said it for sure and I could just as easily be mistaken about which guy it was.
The important thing is, John Harkes is terrible.
