Seriously Sounders supporters? (aka alliteration is fun...)
My goodness am I tired of this year already...the supporters that is. I mean I too am disappointed with the season thus far...but its TWO FREAKIN GAMES IN! (and against two teams that are supposed to be the best in the league) Yes I want wins, I want tons of goals, and I want to win many trophies, but if after two games people are already calling for Sigi's resignation, for the team to be restarted and for people complaining about refs, give me a break. I'm starting to see the "sounders fan are whiny" thing. At first I guess I was oblivious, but geez. I'm Sounder til I die, but I'm not calling for any of this. It's not to bad on here, but on the sounders website and on other boards its ridiculous. Am I crazy? (I guess I just need affirmation that I'm sane...) anyways come on ye mighty sounders and win some points to get people to shut up already about how its the end of the world and how we are going to get relegated or something...

Unacceptable
The only thing I know for sure about this year’s team is that they’ve already screwed their chances of eclipsing the 100 point mark. Totally unacceptable. Blame’s gotta fall on someone’s shoulders, right?

I'm still not enough of a fan to be the guy that will ever call for anyones job, no matter how bad they are
but I thought the first game against the galaxy was pretty entertaining. Obviously I want the team to win, but at least they’re fun to watch.

Every fan base has their over-the-top zealots
but for some reason the Sounders seem to attract more than a lot of teams do. Who knows why. I tend to either stay off most other Sounders boards/sites or just not read the comments after a loss because they just get ridiculous and waaaaay overreact to anything except total domination by their personal favorite players.
While annoying
I think its kind of a good thing. Having fanatics is good, I suppose. I just try not to pay much attention.

Yea, this is a little over the top, but realize that many Sounders fans/ supporters are still adjusting to the whole playoff system, and two losses against what are arguably title contenders and going 6 points in the hole is a horrible way to get things started, 6 points is a pretty big mountain to climb come the end of the season.
But since the MLS has playoffs, I don’t think its that big of a deal.
At the same time, some of the people freaking out are the same ones who wanted to start a riot, fire the entire staff, and trade Sigi to Portland at our low points last year.
Personally I expect good and bad seasons, and will just take things as the come.
Look, it's MLS. It's not THAT hard to get into the playoffs. We dropped tons of points and did it last year.
If winning the supporters shield is the only way to win, as it is in most other leagues, I would be much more worried. We’ve had a difficult start, true, but we’ll be alright.
La Vecchia Signora Forever!
No!
I’m telling you- 100 points or bust.
