Doesn’t go Green eventually?

I don’t do a good job keeping tabs on other teams, but it seems like the Sounders are doing a good job securing Green Cards for their international players. Montero, Nkufo, Zakuani, Hurtado, and now Gonzalez have all gained permanent residence in the US while with the team. I don’t hear a lot about players on other teams getting the same thing (but I’m really watching for it either). I wonder if this is possibly a “benefit” of playing for the Sounders who have significant resources available to pay for and expedite legal paperwork like this for their personel. Obviously it’s beneficial for the club as well since they free up an international slot.
