CONCACAF Coefficients

I think to make the CONCACAF Champions League (CCL) more relevant, fans need to get behind some rankings (aka coefficients) and have a reason to cheer for their team or other MLS teams in the CCL.  The Sounders are currently 20th in the most updated CCL coefficients.  More after the jump...

I didn't come up with this myself, but I found it at this site (http://www.hexagonalblog.com/2008/09/developing-concacaf-coefficients-part-2.html).  Using the below formulas, I have the current information updated through the semi-finals of this year's CCL.  These coefficients are an average over a 5 year period - 2006-2011 (similar to UEFA Coefficients).  Gives you a reason to cheer for RSL in this year's CCL...the more they win, the better Country Coefficient USA gets therefore the better ranking Seattle gets...I wanted to share and get your thoughts...
