Iran, South Africa, UAE and Morocco bidding for Club World Cup
Japan and United Arab Emirates have hosted the CWC in its current format. That the USA (say South Florida, LA, Phoenix or Texas?) isn't hosting this tournament at some point is silly.

Iran Hosting Would Suck
Considering the poor relations between the U.S. and Iran there is a good possibility that US players could face travel restrictions.

wouldn’t that be consider governmental interference if Iran were to host and restrict travel for US players?
I'm also thinking of US restrictions
At some point the US is going to try and isolate Iran again over the nuclear issue. That could mean travel restrictions for US nationals similar to what is currently imposed on Cuba.
