Tracking Former Trialists In Lower USSF Divisions
While #TheTrialist earned the fame, and the contract, the Seattle Sounders have had several other players into camp at various points over the past few years who are now scattered in the lower divisions of the USSF. These players are in the NASL (Division 2), USLPro (Div 3) and the PDL (Div 4). With Seattle lacking some depth these days and the ability to get a loan for one of these players being fairly simple, it may be time to start tracking their performance in these other leagues. The list is not yet complete, but includes a few players whom Seattle owns their MLS rights. Others would require more complicated transactions.
Normally we will update based on the games within the last week, but at this time let's just see how they have performed in the first month+ of their league seasons.
| Player | Position | Team | League | Min | % Min Ply | PP90 | G | A |
| Ely Allen | WF | NSC MN Stars | NASL | 464 | 64% | 0.19 | 0 | 1 |
| Richard Martinez | RB | PR Islanders | NASL | 360 | 67% | 0.00 | 0 | 0 |
| Ciaran O'Brien | CAM | Atlanta Silverbacks | NASL | 52 | 8% | 0.00 | 0 | 0 |
| Alex Caskey | CAM, CM | Charleston Battery | USL Pro | 256 | 32% | 0.00 | 0 | 0 |
| Seedy Bah | F, RM | Charleston Battery | USL Pro | 352 | 43% | 0.77 | 1 | 1 |
| Jamel Wallace | CB, RB | Richmond Kickers | USL Pro | 2 | 0% | 0.00 | 0 | 0 |
| Tye Perdido | TF | Kitsap Pumas | PDL | 185 | 51% | 0.00 | 0 | 0 |
| Nik Besagno | CAM | Kitsap Pumas | PDL | 210 | 58% | 0.00 | 0 | 0 |
| Leone Cruz | CB, RB | Laredo Heat | PDL | 299 | 83% | 0.60 | 1 | 0 |
| Kevin Forest | RM, F | Crossfire | PDL | 98 | 27% | 0.00 | 0 | 0 |
| Sean Morris | CB, RB | Timbers | PDL | 135 | 50% | 0.00 | 0 | 0 |
| Nick Palodichuk | CM | Timbers | PDL | 135 | 50% | 0.67 | 0 | 1 |
O'Brien and Wallace are dealing with injuries. If there are other former trialists still playing within the USSF system that should be added to the list please let us know.

Kerry Baptiste
Does anyone have info on him? He was a goal machine for Joe Public in the CCL and SSFC brought him in for a trial in the preseason. I did a cursory search, but didn’t find much.
Oops, just listed the outfielders
Meredith is with the Pumas and dominating.
GAA of 0.00
Sv% of 100%
Only keeper they’ve used so far.

The stats show the Pumas have had one goal scored on them...
but he still has at a GAA of 0.00 and Sv% 100 why? Not that is matters much, he obviously has been doing very well… just doesn’t make any sense.
Tye Perdido might be a good person to bring back
We really need another big target man to eat up some minutes until OBW comes back. Even then he would be useful for Open Cup games. Plus he’s a Zag which is always cool. :-)

Don’t see much there to address the most immediate offensive needs. I’d keep an eye on Cruz as a possible Graham replacement if Taylor can’t get healthy.
You will hear us on Brougham, you will hear us on Occidental, you will hear us on King. We are all around you, there is no escape.
