Hello fellow supporters,

Ever since the franchise was announced, I have been searching for ways to participate and be involved with the club. Joining supporters groups, donating time for charity events and of course giving my full 90 on match day were the obvious routes, and I am glad for every memory up to this point. This season, I am seeking to take that one step further by serving on the Sounders Alliance Council.

I want to help drive our club as it relates to fans/supporters in a direction that is beneficial for everyone. This not only includes the supporter groups but also every ticket holder. To that end, I am running for the council as an independent member. I have membership in both ECS and GFC, and I actively participate with GFC in a variety of duties. But I think it is important that I represent all ticket holders and Alliance members equally - not as one or the other but as the same. I wish to support what is best for all of us, not just the majority.

As for a specific agenda or platform - I have none. Perhaps one thing I'd love to see happen is an Alliance-wide vote to choose what one of our home/away kits look like in a future season (an idea that was suggested to me by a fellow fan.) But in all honesty, I do not know what to expect as far the council goes. I hold out hope that there is a little bit of that "democracy in sports" that they have promised us.

I am asking for your vote. To be elected to the Alliance council, a candidate must have the votes of 25 members (season-ticket holders). A member can vote for only one candidate.
