PrintFunny how much difference a week makes. When last we spoke, we were talking about the season coming to a crossroad and were pretty down in the dumps. After a win over San Francisco FC to move into the CONCACAF Champions League group stage, the Sounders managed to pull out an improbable win over Sporting Kansas City in which they scored two goals after the 90th minute.
This week, we'll dissect those games as well as look ahead to Saturday's match with Chivas USA. To help us preview that game, we interviewed Alicia Ratterree (@SoccerMusings) of The Goat Parade, SB Nation's Chivas USA Blog. She has some quality insight and says Blair Gavin is a player worth keeping an eye on.
We close out by discussing the soon-to-be-closing International Transfer Window and how badly the Sounders need to make a move. Teaser alert: Both of us really want to see a move get made, but are not exactly convinced one will.

The Herediano away match should be held at the Costa Rican national stadium, as their prelim match against Alpha United was held there.
