Seattle Sounders Vs. Comunicaciones, Matchcard: Projected Lineups, Broadcast Info
If the Seattle Sounders have any hopes of advancing to the CONCACAF Champions League knockout stage, beating Comunicaciones at home is an absolute must. If the Sounders are serious about doing that, it stands to reason they will put out pretty close to a first-choice lineup.
There will be at least one player missing, though, as Osvaldo Alonso will have to sit out with yellow-card accumulation. That would seem to point to Servando Carrasco getting the start, although Brad Evans alongside Erik Friberg is a definite possibility. We're also feeling pretty good about Mike Fucito getting the nod (where have you heard that before?). The only other surprise in our lineup is Patrick Ianni over Jeff Parke, which is just a gut feeling.
Predicting a lineup for Comunicaciones was pretty tough, as there is very little known about them. We turned to Jason Anderson (aka @ChestRockwell14) of Black and Red United. Among the notable players on their roster is Fredy Thompson (81 caps for Guatemala), Tránsito Montepeque (three international goals in 10 appearances) and Jairo Arreola (two caps). He says they play a 3-5-2/5-3-2 hybrid that employs the use of wingbacks. They have also scored 12 goals in six league games this season. Could be interesting.

Heh...
Clearly from the text you didn’t actually intend to put both Alonso and Carrasco in the lineup.

why do you have Ozzie in the line up? I thought he had to serve a suspension?

Not only does Jeremiah have Alonso in the lineup, he’s got a former Mariners star in Communications’ back line! Seriously, I hope their team approaches CLink from the south, so that they can pass by Safeco and get a laugh out of “Edgar Martinez Drive.”

I think this is the ideal Sounders lineup (substitute Alonso for Carrasco). I’m not sure why Sigi didn’t start Leo after his performance against San Francisco. I just haven’t been seeing anything from Wahl lately that makes me think that he should definitely be starting over Gonzalez. I also think Fucito is a better bet up front than Noonan.
Leo
not sure Leo can handle multiple games in a week. So if you can only play him in one game a week, with most of his career being in Central America, he is better suited for CCL games.
He played 120+ minutes against SFFC, so I’m not sure how true that is. It also doesn’t explain why he couldn’t have started against Chivas, other than saving him for CCL.

I'll bet Jaqua gets the nod over Fucito
and Fucito comes in as a sub later most likely. No other reason than a gut feeling and Sigi’s usual patterns. I do hope Fucito goes back to his scoring ways in CCL from last year.
It's also not impossible...
…that Fucito and Jaqua start up top, with Fredy coming off the bench if needed. Remember the Metapan game here last season?
How to watch
Looks like none of the spanish language channels are showing this game and CONCACAF TV isn’t covering either. Other ideas out there? FSC isn’t really an option.
CONCACAF TV doesn't do a very good job of updating their site.
My guess is that they’ll have it.

Should be a FSC stream online if you're into that kind of thing
Try http://www.freefootball.eu/upcoming.php I’ve always had good luck with their links. Normally goes up 30min before kickoff
What kind of crowd is expected for this match?
Will it sell out the same way an MLS home game does?
The relentless placement of Fucito in these makes me chuckle everytime
Here’s hoping this time Sigi is listening too
