We've been alluding to this for a few weeks now, but it's now official: The Seattle Sounders' Oct. 15 match against the San Jose Earthquakes will the first-ever Sounder at Heart Day at Century Link Field. With the help of ticketing partner TiqIQ, Sounder at Heart has secured a group of 40 tickets in Section 328. The best part? These tickets that normally sell for $15 will be available to our readers for the bargain price of $10 (purchase here).

Now, obviously, we realize that Sec. 328 is not exactly the best set of seats in the stadium. Sitting in the upper deck of the southwest corner of the stadium may not be the way you prefer to spend your game day, but we think this represents a pretty awesome opportunity to spend some quality time with your fellow readers and -- equally important -- your friendly Sounder at Heart bloggers. 

Beyond the actual game, we are also working on adding some perks to this little outing. We haven't finalized the details, but we can tell you that you won't necessarily have to buy a ticket through us in order to participate in these extras. We will obviously share those details with you as soon as we get them.

In the meantime, we'd really like to encourage anyone interested to buy their tickets early. It should be a fun game as it will be Kasey Keller's final regular-season home game and, of course, the Heritage Cup is also up for grabs!!!
