I work as a an engineering project manager at Boeing on the 787 program. Today we delivered the first 787 to All Nippon Airways of Japan. Here's a shot of the ceremony, where they handed out scarves and asked the crowd to hold them up. I asked one of the communications people who organized the event if there was any Sounders influence on the scarves and holding them up, and she said she believed that the higher-ups got the idea from the displays at the games. (Presumably ECS's Sounders 'til I Die chant) Thought that was pretty cool, their influence even reaches into the corporate world!

Wait you guys finally delivered the first 787?
And you’re still sober? What’s wrong with you?
Haha
Unfortunately I’ve been sick. I was out for the ceremony (for almost 5 hours in the rain) and then quickly went downhill from there. I’ll live it up when we deliver the second one.

Thanks!
I wish they put up the shot I saw of the entire crowd, it was better than this one. But this works too.
