Sounder at Heart Day Oct 15 Pregame Edition

Sometimes the virtual needs to get real. Sometimes communities need to congregate. At these times, it is best to have a place to gather. A place to share space, to raise a pint and celebrate each other. We're going to tear down the digital walls and commune before the October 15th match against the San Jose Earthquakes. There will be some guests, some beer, some chatter. There may even be a speech or two.

Most importantly there will be you. And that next guy or gal in the auto-updating comment list.

Who: You. Specifically those of you with a Nos Audietis scarf (pledge to buy 2012 version is good enough) or Sounder at Heart shirt or sitting in our section in the stadium for the game. #ChurchOfFucito shirts are also valid for entry.
What: Sounder at Heart Day
Where: Temple Billiards - The Basement (seriously, a blogger is hosting an event in a basement)
When: 4-5 PM 15 October
How: Carpooling or other transit is highly advised.
RSVP (click here): It's really helpful if we have an idea of how many people are coming

These is a 21 and over event. Standing with us during the game is not.

That seems really short huh? That's just the formal part. From 5 PM to 6:30PM we will just hang out an pre-game in one of ECS affiliate bars. At 6:30PM we will March to Match and BE HEARD. At 7:30 PM will be first kick. At 9:50 we will celebrate the greatest keeper to put on the United States shirt - Kasey Keller people. Tim Howard isn't here.

There will be a guest or two. No you don't get to know who they are. You don't need to. They will be awesome. The bar in the basement will be staffed. The typical pre-match specials will be in effect. On their main floor they have a few food options.

We may surprise you with guests and who know what else.

Again, there is no cost if you've supported us before. If you don't have season tickets we have very affordable tickets to the match still available. If you have season tickets and don't have Sounder at Heart scarf you can buy a shirt, but act quick so you have it. They take about 10 days to get to your door.

I missed out on the scarves. :( But would love a #CoF shirt.

Also, just in case anyone has this going on as well I’m going to try and get the second half to come. Are there any +1 requirements (due to the size of the venue… I’ve not been to temple’s basement before).
