In case you missed it, Preston Burpo was a surprise guest during the Vancouver match. He quietly found his way up to ECS and took a seat at the back of the section. He had a grin that stretched from ear to ear the whole time.

Wiki to the rescue
Being a neophyte to the Seattle Sounders scene, I had no idea who Mr. Burpo was. Based on the grin, I assumed he was a member of the previous incarnation of the Sounders. For the rest of the MLS Sounders FC fans, he was a long time goalie for the USL Sounders.
I didn't know who he was either...
Until the tifo display at home against Portland this year, thought everyone would know who he was after that.

I see the games on TV and Radio
Can’t afford to go to many of the games, so I don’t see the tifo’s. I’ve only gotten to go to two games so far, last year’s USOC finals and this year’s Toronto game. But I have tickets for next week’s USOC final and am thrilled.

Any chance that the Sounders sign Burpo to replace Keller or be a back-up next year? Or is his injury still a concern?
I think he's basically retired
