Sigi Schmid On KJR With Elise and Gas
A Michael Parkhurst type of defender, if not at that level, is quite exciting. Also, Sigi expects Duran to get plaing time this year.

Good, if brief, interview
Glad to see KJR (Gas specifically) continue to give the Sounders coverage post-Arlo.
KJR
As a station, I think that KJR does a much better job with Sounders coverage than KIRO (outside of the actual game-day coverage). I wonder when the radio contract will be up for bid as I’d love for KJR to make that happen – especially now that they have an FM carrier as well.
That way, the guys on KIRO can continue to disparage soccer as a sport and I can instead continue to listen to KJR for some positive coverage.

I wonder if the Seahawks and Sounders radio deals are somehow linked though.

Those two are what I was thinking when we picked him, mostly based on his relative lack of size and his reported skill with the ball at his feet.
We'll have an announcement on that any day now
