Sebastien Le Toux Apparently Heading To Bolton
Oh, how Seba has grown up. It seems like just the other day he was a relatively unknown player making a name for himself with the Sounders in the USL. Now, he's apparently heading to Bolton to play in the EPL. It's really a remarkable rise and, unfortunately, a reminder of easily the biggest personnel mistake the Sounders have made since coming to MLS. Still, it's pretty cool to see this happen.

Wow
Really makes me wish Sigi had tried Seba at forward in 2009. Oh, well. Best of luck, Seba.
He paired with Montero would have basically been a forwardless formation

I still say.
There’s no way he gets where he is if he stays with us. Sigi wasn’t going to play him in the role he has at Philly. He’d likely have disappeared to the bench or worse if he stayed here and kept being played out of position. I suppose that is mostly just trying to justify losing him though.
Boo! Tomorrow AM. I want all things now!

I agree with this
I think it’s actually a great example of exactly how expansion drafts should work—giving a guy who fits on one team’s bench an opportunity to start somewhere else. In some ways, it’s a bit how the Rule 5 draft is supposed to work in baseball.

I talked to him quickly before the last home game against Philly
He said he was glad to be in Seattle again and that he loves it here. He’ll always be a Sounder in my mind. Hopefully he’s a Sounder at Heart too.

Best of luck to Seba
This will forever irk me, like the situation with the Seahawks in 2006 when they kept Shaun Alexander and let Hutchinson go; Nate Jaqua is my Shaun Alexander. I’ll be keeping an eye out for Bolton and wish them the best of luck, except when they play the Gunners.
Go banana!
I agree with Perrinbar...
if we had kept him, he would have been a useful utility player/late sub, but would never have become what he is now. I’m happy for him and even more happy that we don’t have to play against him. It will be fun to see him play with Stuart Holden if Holden can recover. Good luck Seba!
So that means Bolton has (or will have) three ex-MLSers on their squad?
Holden, Ream, Le Toux? Nice to see, I’ve got to admit. Best of luck, Wanderers.
LeToux is probably the most likeable player in all of MLS
He is just a great person. I’m glad I got to see him play in Seattle, and that he did well in Philly. I really hope he does well in Bolton, he deserves it.
I love Seba and all
… but doesn’t this seem more like a cost-cutting move by Owen Coyle in preparation for life in the Championship than a move from a club gearing up for a relegation battle?
Preparation for a promotion run

You have to think he's going to single handedly save them from relegation right.....?
I highly doubt that’s going to happen but would be awesome if it happened.
Way to go Seba
Always my favorite USL Sounder and a class act.
