It seems obvious after four seasons of what can only be described as dismal failure that the Sounders need a serious reassessment. It's not the formations, per se - on the whole, the team's play and tactics are just fine - but the teamsheet just doesn't sit right with the Seattle mindset. To that end, I sat down for a quick brainstorm after this evening's match to design a revised teamsheet. I think this is much better suited to the highly educated Sounders crowd and will give the players the extra pep they need to perform in the pressure cauldron of Centurylink Field. And if it doesn't work for the players, well, we can always just go into the stands for replacement players, because we're clearly not lacking for talent in any of these positions.
