In case you needed a reminder as to why MLS continues to grant significant television rights to Univision, just consider this quick feature. While broadcast partners like NBC and ESPN have basically ignored MLS since the end of the season, Univision put together its own list of Top 10 highlights from the 2012 season. They aren't just goals and are clearly a separate group than what MLS put together.
As evidence, two Seattle Sounders goals make the list, albeit in lower spots than they made at MLSsoccer.com. Fredy Montero's 40-yard bomb comes in at No. 8, while Patrick Ianni's Goal of the Year winner clocks in at No. 6.
Those mild snubs aside, it's a cool collection.
