This seems to me to be the important quote:
"The Galaxy were also rewarded for their success, receiving $300,000 in allocation from MLS for winning the Supporters Shield and their participation in the CONCACAF Champions League."
As far I I've heard, this is the first time an actual amount has been put to the allocation dollars given to teams for making the CCL. If this is not news, please go about your business.

He has a total for BOTH items
I believe the number for CCL Groups is 100k with an unknown bonus for making additional rounds.
This is the first I’d heard that the Shield gives Allocation Money.
