Whitecaps Not Selling Sounder Game Individually (yet)

PrintVancouver began selling single games today, 2/14/2012 via Ticketmaster. But, in an effort to sell additional season ticket packages, only the first 6 are available.Two games in March, two in April and the first two in May.
Coincidentally, or not, the seventh MLS game is the first of two home games versus the Seattle Sounders on May 19. Now there is also a bit of gamesmanship going on here as well. Until the tickets for the Sounders are sold it hampers the efforts of Sounder fans trying to get tickets on their own instead of pending tickets through a potential supporters group or other method.
The Whitecaps Front Office have been reluctant to comment on their season ticket renewals, according to an article last month in the Vancouver Sun. This contrasts with the way the other two Cascadia teams have disclosed information about season tickets. No announcement has been made when additional games, including the Sounders FC match, will go on sale individually.

Any idea when Timbers tickets go on sale?
I keep checking their site. I’m hoping a non-WA address will help me get Sounders tickets, though that’s massive wishful thinking.
Last year i checked a few weeks before the game and tickets were close to $150 at a minimum.

The price on stub hub will be higher the closer to the game
The price on the street may not be….it’s up to what you want to risk the drive for.
I get that it's cheaper than it will be later (up to $73 now!) but it's not a cheap sports ticket.
And, as I dreaded yet expected, the Timbers/Sounders games are sold out.
Just as an update on Whitecaps tickets
The May 19th game is not for sale individually through Ticket Master Canada but if you are a Gorilla or ECS member I think they are starting to take orders. Check with Gorilla FC or ECS for more info. For either option you must be a member to obtain this offer. I will also update this post when tickets go on sale for the May 19 game through TMC….whenever that is.
