It's High Time That MLS Scrap The Allocation Ranking - SBNation.com In Seattle, Allocation Ranking essentially cost the Sounders the service of Marcus Hahnemann, Fucito/Neagle and a Supplemental Draft Pick while getting them the services of Sammy Ochoa and Eddie Johnson. Other teams are losing players due to it as well. And MLS is losing talent that wants to play in the league, but not for certain teams.
