Garber said the league is still pursuing expansion plans in New York, but added that ownership groups in Miami and Orlando are interested, even with the reported $75-$100 million expansion fee. In regards to MLS’ popularity amongst avid soccer fans, Garber said the league’s goal is to win over fans of international soccer. In regards to TV, Garber said there is no quick-fix solution. The league’s steady growth, he said, will grow its television audience.
