Nos Audietis, Episode 47: Now For Something A Little Different

Nos_audietis_05_medium

This week's show is a little different than any of our past shows (well, they are all little unique snowflakes, but you get our larger point hopefully). Instead of a soccer-centric guest, we invited Warren Etheredge (@thewarrenreport) onto the show. You may remember Warren as the "annoying" guy who interviewed Seattle Sounders GM Adrian Hanauer on his show "The High Bar."

Turns out, I was probably more than a bit unfair to Warren in my original writeup of the interview. Maybe his style isn't for everyone, but there's a genuine curiosity there that I mistook for proud ignorance. Since that interview, he's been to an actual, real-life Sounders game and, well, he sounds hooked.

We invited him onto the show not because we wanted to beat him up or really even talk much about his interview with Hanauer, but to get inside the mind of a sports fan who hasn't really taken to soccer. His advice: Just get people out to the game.

Of course, that's not the whole show. We also discuss Saturday's scoreless tie with D.C. United and bring on Chris "UZ" White from Burgundy Wave to give us a preview of this week's match against the Colorado Rapids.

We also take your questions, while watching the Sounders Women play. If you'd like to have your questions answered on future shows, make sure to follow us on Twitter (@nosaudietis).
