Hello, Sounder At Heart. There was a thread like this about a month ago, but I thought I would throw one out again. My brother and I are making pilgrimage to Seattle to see the Sounders - Crew match on May 23rd. We're flying all the way from New Orleans, so its a pretty big trip.


Do y'all have any advice for what to do the few days we're there? We're flying in on Monday, and leaving the day after the match, so this gives us a full day in the city, including the day of the actual game. We're staying about a half-mile from the stadium on 2nd Street, so anything within walking distance / easy to get to would be great.

Specific questions:

Best spot to try to find tickets?
Best place to drink before/after the game? Best place to drink in general?
Should we try to catch a Mariners game on Tuesday?

Any advice would be appreciated.
