In Andy Rose we see a player that in his first few months with the Rave Green has shown the potential to develop into a very valuable asset for the club. Positionally, he seems like he could be Brad Evans' understudy. Rose and Patrick Ianni seem to have good chemistry. Ianni is positionally a very good defender and can close the space Rose creates when he gets involved in the attack. One thing to take into account is that for playing his first MLS match he held his own against much more experienced players and showed good physical stamina throughout the match. For being as tall as he his he has exceptional technical quality. He reads the game well and is not afraid to do the dirty work (something he was criticized for in the match against the Union). He is not a dirty player, he may have been overwhelmed by the occasion but that is a natural response for someone making their first team debut. It is our duty as Sounders fans to help him grow as a player. I propose a chant for the english lad! What do you guys think? Any uggestions? Aaaaaannndddy Roooooosseeee! Hees a SOUNDER! Hes a SOUNDER! Aaaaannnddyyy Rooosseee! He's from England! He's from England! He likes CLAM CHOWDER!
