Not the most interesting gif I've ever animated, but perhaps one of the most important ones to at least Steve Zakuani and Brian Mullan. The Seattle Sounders FC and Colorado Rapids players have probably been eyeing each match date and wondering if they would ever get on the pitch together at the same time. This night fortune put them together again. Zakuani -- who would enter near the death to a roaring, deafening standing ovation -- was greeted by team mates and foes alike. One could even spy Mullan giving sincere in-game applause at the time. Lovely scenes all around, and this one really capped the night.
