Love him or hate him, you cannot deny how much on fire Eddie Johnson has been as of late. He has certainly found his scoring touch again and last night's header adds to his team-high 8 goals for the season. After a near-miss corner, the ball found its way out to Mauro Rosales who put one of his signature nicely weighted crosses into the box. EJ found a pocket of space like all good forwards do, leaped high into the air and deftly redirected the ball past Colorado Rapids GK Matt Pickens. Johnson's goal put the Seattle Sounders FC up 2-0 at the time and would also turn out to be the game winner. Well done, GAM.
